Discussion on ＂Global Carbon Neutralization and China’s Responsibility＂ The 2021 Zero Carbon Mission International Climate Summit opened in Beijing.

They shared and discussed topics such as global carbon neutrality, corporate climate ambition, green finance, energy transformation, green buildings and low-carbon transportation, aiming to gather resources from all sides. John Merton, special envoy of the United Nations Climate Change Conference, pointed out in his opening speech that China enterprises have become important members of the "Towards Zero Carbon" alliance, but in order to achieve the goal of climate action, the global economy needs to make fundamental changes, and more enterprises should be encouraged to join the "Towards Zero Carbon" alliance to help the Glasgow negotiations and the global economy.
Subsequently, former US Vice President Al Gore also gave a congratulatory speech for the summit. He put forward three points on how to phase out fossil fuels in the near future: first, the government and business leaders need to make bold plans to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Second, we must promote a fair transition from coal and natural gas to clean energy. Xu Huaqing, director of the National Center for Strategic Research and International Cooperation on Climate Change, pointed out that in the face of unbalanced and insufficient development, China borrowed some practices from the European Union, requiring the developed coastal areas in the east to take the lead in realizing the peak carbon dioxide emissions and make room for the less developed areas in the central and western regions.

She also pointed out that the government, enterprises and the public all need to make efforts to promote people to change their lifestyles.
Shuai Junwei, director of the EU delegation in China and climate action and environmental counselor, pointed out that the EU’s economic growth has been decoupled from carbon emissions. He also believes that China also needs to make choices, including policies and political will, so that these policies can be applied to all aspects of society.
Don henley, a professor at Melbourne University and a member of the international board of directors of Climate Reality Project, suggested that the whole Asia-Pacific region needs to take joint actions to protect biodiversity and deal with climate change.
Next, the summit entered the "Exploring Neutrality-CEO Roundtable Forum on Corporate Climate Ambition".

As an environmental protection organization composed of entrepreneurs, Alashan SEE Ecological Association will definitely take an active part in coping with climate change and green transformation of enterprises, and strive to make the contribution that enterprises should make.
Subsequently, Xie An, managing partner of Deloitte China Climate Change Service, pointed out that Deloitte has gradually transformed to low carbon by restructuring the operation mode of the enterprise, and achieved carbon neutrality in its operation in fiscal year 2020, and plans to achieve net zero emission in 2030. In the future, Deloitte will cooperate with more research institutions to realize the integration of services, and finally realize the wisdom empowerment of customers and industries and the professional service to the country.
Zhang Yipeng, vice president of Yili Group, also said that the impact of climate change on Yili Group is very important, and it is necessary to do concrete work to become more and more green and growing. In the past 11 years, Yili has saved 10.7 billion kWh, promoted 185,500 mu of sustainable forest, and will help the world with strategic partners in the future.
Zhu Yuqiang, president of the Green Finance Division of Ping An Bank, said in the forum that Ping An Bank decided that the investment and financing scale of the entire financial sector in the carbon neutral stage should reach more than 100 trillion RMB based on research and judgment. Ping An regards green finance as an industrial development, forming an overall top leader and a top-down overall tone. It will make full use of the two distinctive advantages of finance+technology and full license, supplemented by international experience, actively develop the carbon finance market, and strive to achieve green finance overtaking in corners.

Next, Tian Ming, chairman of LANDSHI Holding Group, pointed out that global climate change requires China’s real estate industry to take the road of energy conservation and low carbon, and energy conservation is consistent with health and comfort. Energy conservation means low carbon, and the proportion of fossil energy in China is still very high.
