The National Day Mid-Autumn Festival holiday is coming to an end, and the continuous rainfall causes the road surface to be slippery and the visibility to decrease, which has a certain adverse impact on the holiday return and traffic on the working day after the holiday. The transportation department predicts that today (October 8), from 16: 00 to 20: 00, the expressway entering Beijing will be easily congested.
Beijing Traffic Operation Monitoring and Dispatching Center reminds the public to pay attention to the weather forecast and road information in time, arrange the return trip plan in advance, and return to Beijing at the wrong peak.

Rainfall leads to slippery road surface and reduced visibility, which has a certain adverse effect on return traffic, especially on highway travel.
After inquiring about the road information platform, it was found that as of 9: 30 today, the traffic in the urban area of Beijing was basically smooth, and there was no obvious congestion in the direction of each expressway entering Beijing for the time being, only a few node sections temporarily experienced certain slow driving.
The transportation department predicts that the traffic pressure on the expressway entering Beijing will be concentrated from 16: 00 to 20: 00 today, and some sections of major expressways such as Beijing-Tibet, Jingcheng, Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao, Beijing-Shanghai, Jingkai, Capital Airport Expressway and West Sixth Ring Road, as well as checkpoints entering Beijing such as Xingli, Lixian and Jingkai are prone to traffic concentration.
The transportation department specially reminded that the deadline for free passage of expressway passenger cars is 24: 00 on October 8, and before that, you can enjoy the no-pass policy when you leave the exit of the toll station.
The expressway operation unit will strengthen the traffic service guarantee, fully open the toll station lanes, provide front-end obstacle clearing and rescue forces, and the joint traffic control department will clear the place quickly in case of traffic accidents to improve the traffic efficiency. Effectively serve new energy vehicles to travel, and the service area enhances service capabilities such as charging.

In order to cope with the large passenger flow of railways and civil aviation returning to Beijing on the last day of the holiday, the transportation department has taken a number of measures to fully ensure that passengers arriving at night can connect with urban traffic. On October 8, 8 lines of Metro Lines 2, 3, 4, 7, 10, 14 and 19 and Daxing Airport Line will be delayed until 2 am the next day at the latest, and Fengtai Station of Lines 10 and 16 will be operated before 5 am.
