Meihekou city natural population queue started construction and the Meihe Health Research Institute of the First Hospital of Jida University was officially completed.

On November 11th, the seminar on the study of natural population queues in meihekou city and the kick-off meeting on the construction of natural population queues in meihekou city were successfully held in the administrative building of Meihe Hospital of the First Hospital of Jida University. Academician Chen Xiangmei, academician of China Academy of Engineering, director of the First Medical Center of PLA General Hospital and director of the State Key Laboratory of Kidney Diseases, attended the meeting online. In her speech, she said that the study of natural population cohort in meihekou city is a milestone. She shared her views on data-driven natural population queues and disease prevention and control. She said that the study of natural population cohort in the whole life cycle requires us to use years of efforts to deeply understand the health status of our people in order to see the final results. "meihekou city natural population cohort study" is the first large-scale natural population cohort in Jilin Province, and the First Hospital of Jida University is the lead unit and implementing agency for the construction of this cohort.
