　　Beijing Evening News (Reporter Dai Lili) The National Health and Wellness Commission recently published the "First List of Drugs for Rational Use under State Key Monitoring (Chemical Drugs and Biological Products)". 20 kinds of drugs, such as ganglioside, cerebroside carnosine and oxiracetam, were listed in the key monitoring list.

　　On the basis of the Catalogue, a list of rational drug use under provincial key monitoring will be formed and published, and various medical institutions at all levels will form a list of rational drug use under provincial key monitoring.

　　In clinical application, medical institutions will establish a drug management system that focuses on monitoring rational drug use and strengthen the whole process management of clinical application of drugs in the catalogue. Further standardize doctors’ prescription behavior, formulate drug use guidelines or technical specifications for drugs included in the catalogue, and clearly stipulate the conditions and principles of clinical application. Carry out prescription review and comment on all drugs included in the catalogue, and strengthen the publicity, feedback and utilization of prescription comment results.

　　Health administrative departments at all levels, departments in charge of traditional Chinese medicine and medical institutions will establish and improve the monitoring and extraordinary early warning system for clinical use of drugs. Focus on the clinical use of drugs included in the catalogue as the assessment content of medical institutions and their main responsible persons, combined with the verification, evaluation and performance appraisal of medical institutions, and the assessment results will be publicized in time.

　　The first catalogue includes: ganglioside, cerebroside carnosine, oxiracetam, creatine phosphate sodium, deproteinized calf serum, alprostadil, troxerutin brain protein hydrolysate, compound coenzyme, salvia miltiorrhiza ligustrazine, invert sugar electrolyte, rat nerve growth factor, thymopentin, ribonucleic acid II, edaravone, bone peptide, brain protein hydrolysate, ribonucleic acid, vinpocetine and deproteinized calf blood extract.
