The Supreme Leader and The Politburo Standing Committee (PSC) collectively visited the site of the First Congress of the Communist Party of China.

At 19:00 on October 23rd, the press center of the 19th National Congress held a group interview with the theme of "Fighting the tough battle for ecological protection". The party representatives present were: Zhu Hua, Party Secretary and Director of Fujian Provincial Environmental Protection Department; Gao Jianmin, Party Secretary and Director of Hebei Provincial Environmental Protection Department; Zhang Lihua, President of Liaoning Academy of Environmental Sciences; Huang Bin, Director of Analysis Office of Environmental Monitoring Center of Zhangjiajie City, Hunan Province; and Hu Guanjiu, Deputy Director of Jiangsu Environmental Monitoring Center.
